Trinidadian Muhammad “Hummy” Ali ran an ET of 6.22sec at 226.81mph at Orlando Speed World Dragway on Saturday night as he piloted his SR20 powered S15 down the quarter mile track to break the WORLD RECORD for Quickest 4 cylinder car. Hummy smashed the previous records of 6.23 held by Stetsrom Racing of Sweden and 6.26 held by Jett Racing of Australia, the latter who he ran against tonight.
Hummy made it all the way to the Finals last night in Orlando however on the final shootout his clutch switch broke and he stalled on the line. Major congrats to him though!!!! Breaking the world record for Quickest 4cyl and making it to the final of the Sport Compact World Challenge!!!
