Which cable tv providers HD is the best?

Postby Ben_spanna » July 12th, 2018, 1:05 pm

Just looking ot hear from some of you that have had direct comparison between the Cable HIGH DEFINITION of the various cable tv providers.

Flow, Direct Tv or Digicell, which has the closest to a TRUE HD picture with the accompanying quality sound??

I have flow so I know that now a majority of their programming is in Spanish, does direct tv or digicell offer any better English speaking channels?

Direct TV is crap. Got it to watch football seeing as how FLOW bought the rights from them.

Mostly everything is in Spanish and the quality is questionable. 720p at best.

4k? Who's your service provider for the IPTV and what are their rates?

My provider is good. I get around the same channels and mostly 1080p. No 4k.

I am so glad you asked this question.

Flow is my provider and on a 4K TV, CNC3 news, which is supposed to be in HD, looks like rubbish.

The problem is that when they show the in-house team for World Cup (Akash & Co), it shows like true HD.

But, when CNC3 goes to their 7:00 p.m. news in HD, it never looks like HD. It does not look like they are using the HD camera for the news.

I thought something was wrong with my eyes.

I do not agree that the majority of Flow's programming is in Spanish. DirecTV, maybe.

PM too please. Thanks.

Test by watching action scenes .If you can see the pixelation, you know its not good HD.

Believe only the World Cup would be HD on CNC3, rest of their programming remains SD.

Amplia may have the best HD quality.

when i switched from flow to direct tv about 5yrs back then it was like watching old time broadcast tv antennae on top ur house quality to like watching a dvd .... i dont agree with "majority of shows is in spanish" , more like about 10% is spanish though some shows\movies has spanish subtitles but is english speaking

is waaaaaay more content so i never regretted making d switch

past few yrs i mostly watch shows from live stream sites , no ads & u watch when u ready or in d mood

imho unless u have older ppl or young kids that cant use or u dont want them to see certain stuff is best u get rid of all & just stream stuff str8 from d internet .......

Amazon recommends at least 15 megabits per second, while Netflix advises 25 Mbps. But if other devices at home will be occupying your bandwidth, 15 or 25 Mbps alone won’t suffice.
