Looking for someone to really advise on how to do the run.
The stove is not near a window and the wall is not an exterior wall.
Trying to decide which direction for the run with minimal 90 degree turns.
Will do the actual rangehood install myself with the help of utube.

They use it. Key part here is maintenance. If smell is a big issue you can get creative with baking soda in the filter media.

Bumping up this message to find out if anyone here uses the ductless range hoods and their experience, does it do a good job filtering out generally frying or curry for a residential home?

AIRKING brand
Uses a charcoal based filter, the filter isnt actually a filter, its more of a grease trap.
The house will still smell, so open up windows when cooking.
Mine works well because i open up the house when cooking and put a fan facing out the window. So it sends the kitchen air outside.
I also change my filters like 3x per year.
But my cupboards have no grease residue like kitchens that dont use the range hood.simplejack wrote:cueball1990 wrote:there are also ductless range hoods that use charcoal filters but im guessing you already bought yours.

Thanks Kronik! Is this a range only or tho microwaves that come with the built in range? Looking to install the microwave that comes with the range feature and wondering if the filter you recommended would work.
