The idiots dont even know how to handle and care for firearms, you dont drop guns like that, the slides can become misaligned, sights locks pins and tabs can all be compromised also leading to malfunctions and poor performance.

Lol that's why they are usually the ones on the losing end of a gunfight, many of those factors come into play thankfully..

This is a police crime, not so?

Especially when he went back to the jeep to get the gun to plant it somewhere and when they disabled the camera.

Can't really see what going on in the video, or if the object was a gun... but are those officers that dotish to interfere with a camera on private property that recorded them deliberately manipulating the camera to obscure their future actions? Would 100% believe the eye witness accounts of this incident. Where are the body cams that Police should have?

Supermarket bandit hammered into submission, after beating customer

A supermarket owner stepped in to defend a customer and used a hammer to pound a criminal suspect into submission in Tobago on Friday afternoon.

The suspect was unable to move after his victim was finished with him. He was arrested by police.

It happened at around 12.30pm when the owner of a mini-mart located at Arnos Vale Road Plymouth, was confronted by two gunmen

The owner said he handed over $8,000 to one suspect while the other struck a customer several times on his head with a firearm causing multiple injuries.

The business owner became afraid for his customer’s life and armed with a hammer began to struggle with the assailant that had struck the customer, the police said.

As a result, the assailant fell to the ground and the other man escaped with the cash.

Sgt Wilson and a party of officers of the Shirvan Road CID responded, visited the scene, arrested the injured suspect and recovered a firearm on the premises.

WPC Woods and PC Mc Kain conducted enquiries, received further information and went to a garden located at Jaegers Hall Trace Plymouth. The officers found concealed under a tree stump a plastic bag containing another black plastic bag with a large quantity of cash, which was believed to be part of the money taken during the robbery of the mini-mart.

The hammered suspect is receiving medical attention at the Scarborough Regional Hospital.

You can take matters into your hands at your home for protection.

Years ago a court case was won where a home owner set a trap to cut the hands of a break and enter bandit via a window trap.

I think the bandit had one of his hands cut off while trying to pry open a window.

Home owner was taken to court but won his case as it was his home and bandit had no right being there.

this is my point, why did it even go to court? if a man attempts to enter your private property via illegal ways why should it even be an issue, where is the automatic protection for the home owner? criminals should not even have a right to challenge such .

Maybe police like putting hand cuffs on inoccent folk and arress ticks on their police productivity record .

But a precedence has be set on protecting yourself at home , so the law have to think twice before taking folk to court .

It goes to court as they can be excessive use of force. So yes a burglar come into your home and he died. If he died from 2/3 shots their should be no investigation on excessive use of force. But after lets say 6 or 10. Yhhhhh u overdoing it there. Same with like stab wounds. The robber died by 6 stab wounds. Meh ok. But we reach in the teens or the 20s. Nah this person have pyschopathic tendencies and after getting a taste for blood may become a danger to the populace. I think thats the thinking of excessive use of force when it comes to defending your property.

^ IIRC there was a case a number of years ago where a teen girl house breaker had her hand cut off via a home made guillotine contraption (south Trinidad I believe). If I also remember correctly the house owner ended up in court for building said contraption and may have lost their case.

Our newspapers horrid archival system not bringing up anything.

So the dirty trinis keep robbing the Chinese at Esperance.
I think they robbed them 3 days in a row last month.
Now the Chinese have to spend more money to hire extra security and escort etc.

On another note a brejrin said there was some huge commotion with about 8 police vehicles right opposite that same grocery yesterday (but on the residential side) and something like gunshots.

Not sure if shakes or rollings them know what went on but bejrin say it could have been an attack on the Chinese because of the amount of police and also because you not hearing any update on it.
