But not gonna lie this bike is VERY beautiful looking, got it for $3K and paid an additional $100 for the lock cable.

This bike is way better than the Giant Revel 3 that the UNC criminal did steal from me last month. I just need to buy a new saddle for it from Amazon a nice padded one for the extra large humans.

When I see them pull out that box from the back and start to unbox the bike I say YIKES!!!! good thing I didnt order this from Amazon. lol my credit card would ah hit the limit when time to ship yes. If you see that thing big like a 70 inch TV box package.

Never even realized bikes this expensive.
I was only accustomed to those cheap MTB from Kenny's back in the day.
$800-$1200 and you inside.

And here I was thinking to buy a new bike and start back exercising.

couple more pics

Not gonna lie but for $3K this is amazing value, must be the only bike in this price range with Matte Finish Paint aswell. Uses Formula Hubs aswell, my previous Giant bike used generic knock off chinese hubs with Giant brand on it, in some ways I not too upset by the UNC thief who stole the bike, the axle and thing in that did mash up.

I won't ever recommend mikes bikes for any entry level bikes, thats where I bought the old Giant, his prices are very high and you get rubbish for your money when it comes to entry level bikes. For budget and bang for the buck, Bike Inn is the only place to go!!! What I like about this Fuji is there are NO nasty Steel parts to rust and weigh heavy, everything is Aluminum and stainless steel spokes

I am mainly using this as transport for work, where I work has a shower so I am in luck. Its exactly 6 miles ride so thats 12 miles a day in total I expect to eliminate this obesity in a year time.

Police doesn't harass you for riding on the highway? I know you can't ride on the highway going south.

You not worried about men unbolting the seat and wheels to steal it?
Back wheel looks like it can be removed without any tools.

if you are worried about people thiefing the quick release wheels get a longer cable lock, wind it through the wheels and frame. problem solved.

They never harass me riding CRH from Piarco to St Augustine. Do they really harass someone for riding a bike on the highway? I use the highway cause its the safest and a free shoulder to ride on a bit like a bike lane.

I could swear I see fellas riding their road bikes in their cycling clothes on Saturdays on the CRH not long ago.

Can police actually charge you for this? what exactly is the fine? is there a specific law or something regarding riding on the highway?

The cycling clubs get permission and also have police escorts , but I think generally cyclists , animals ,mopeds and agricultural machinery are banned from the highway. You not even supposed to be walking . I just don't know if it applies to CRH or only to UBH and Solomon Hochoy.

A $1000 bike is a cheap chinese steel frame with generic hubs and crap. They last about 2 years at most, they rust and look nasty they are heavy and if the bearings lock on you riding then you could possibly die. The brakes stop working within just 5 months of getting wet a few times.

Aluminum costs twice the price of steel, but it is the magic material it doesn't rust and has a lifespan of 10,000 years.

$3K is the starting price of a acceptable entry level bike that is considered ok. It have plenty fellas in this country with bikes that cost $12,000 and up.

The club that wears the mecalfab branding riding outfits routinely use the crh with no police escort. In fact I would say a police escort is an exception and. Not the norm for the crh road cyclists.

nah but dem men who does ride on the highway trained professionally and rel fit. You admit to yourself here that u a fat fcuk who can't ride for sheit.

Take it round the savannah for a bit nah. In fact, get the bike first and pump up the tires, get a night light, learn to ride in the local area before you feel you could step up to the big boys with the endurance they have. You must be real stupid to think that anyone in Trinidad care about your fatass right and wrong logic when u get bounce down and crushed like a stink alligator on the Highway shoulder.

Don't be so quick to blame the seat.

That seat is angled down and would likely be uncomfortable for anybody
It should be horizontal and height adjusted so you have a slight knee bend when foot is at bottom of pedal
Ball of your foot on the pedal.

I think the law only applies to south highway, I could be wrong.
Those racing guys who ride everyday use crh all the time, if they going south they use smr and go behind by waterloo to avoid the highway.

Btw u wearing cycling garments ?

Mikes and gene has good helmets with different price ranges from $350 upwards. Stay away from the $5us eBay helmets that bike inn sells....it’s garbage!

$350 is plenty money for a helmet. I will have to do some research between the expensive vs the cheap ones. Helmets usually give me headaches after about 20 mins.
And where mikes and gene is? First time hearing bout them.

Lol....after bussing my ass on the trails and seeing men fall $350 is cheaper than paying for private health care attention or the time to deal with public healthcare....but a cheap helmet is better than none!

Yeah I noticed I was getting some knee pain after the 7 mile ride I did, was now looking up how you said the adjustments needed, I adjusted the seat to make it straight and to get a 45 degree angle at the 3 O' clock I also read the knee has to be direct above the pedal at 3 O clock aswell. I didn't get any knee pain with my old Giant MTB. So definitely the seat needs adjusting on this new bike.

And yes I see those racing guys on the CRH all the time often you see them in groups of 3, it has a guy up St Helena here who rides from St Helena to Manzanilla on weekends he told me he takes the CRH. They ride past police road blocks normal, IF that was illegal there is noway cops would turn a blind eye to it everytime. I think that the CRH is different when it comes to this.

I don't wear cycling garments, I wear a short pants and armless because I ride on flat road, I don't go off road. Not sure if a helmet is needed for the slow cruising speed I usually do, but a few people have told me to invest in one. Never liked helmets or knee/elbow pads on a bicycle but I could definitely see it being mandatory on something like a motorbike though. Or perhaps a roadbike where you are pedaling fast.

^ I ordered this

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000A ... 4BIB&psc=1

I had one of these on my old bikes it is extremely comfy, but I think for longer than 14 miles per day I would need the shorts.

Better to buy the safety gear . Some mad man could knock you off and then you'll be glad you spent a few hundred dollars.

Bike inn set up a seat angled up into my jewels already....

Double check all their measurements...They do good maintenance though...

With any change in set up...Do a few miles to make sure it agrees with you

alright I will get the helmet just to be safe I guess better safe than sorry.

And yeah X2 on how they setup bikes in Bike Inn, its really quick mounting up they do and they don't really check anything in terms of user adjustment but good thing for youtube and stuff I can do that part by myself, for the super low price they charge I don't mind.

The same quality bike you would get for $3k in bike inn you would have to spend about $4500 in mikes bikes, his prices are that high.
