Which ever you decide make sure they use proper wires . On my system they used telephone wires between the detector sensors and it starting to deteriorate . make sure they run the wires in trunking under the ground

So you have to pay $350 for original

Instead of buying remotes I use gogogate a module that allows the gate to be open via smart phone.

The only problem I encountered was a failure of some electronic part on the board in the control box (the motor stopped working). A guy from TriniTuner was able to fix it at reasonable cost (around $400 or so).
One of the remotes fell and got damaged. I got one of those generic remotes as a replacement, but I can't remember the cost for the remote and programming. Sorry.
