Can TT accounts receive payments from PayPal?

eh watch nah trinidad can't recieve payments in paypal? because i have a youtube ting and i get a lil 300US for my channel but like i can't get the money because of my country smh

There are ways of receiving paypal payments or you can also look at setting up an account with FAC to have online payments. This was made easier since Scotia Bank and as of late last year republic bank launched their e commerce platform.
Yes there are fees involved and No i dont know them .

But it is possible to receive the funds and re use/withdraw.

You can receive funds to your T&T PayPal account by withdrawing to a VISA card.
If you don't have a VISA credit card you can use a VISA Debit Card / VISA Travel Money (VTM) card from Republic Bank. It is a USS$ card so it's a good option if you do not want to convert the money to TT$.

Thats correct. I use my VTM card to receive money all de time. It takes 30 days for de money to clear before u can transfer it to the VTM card tho. But if you send them an email asking them to clear it one time they usually do it in a day or 2.

i have sold stuff online and received paypal payments on several occasions. The payment is transferred o my VISA ccard on the month end after 30 days has passed. I've been in touch with paypal and the representative said it was a government mandate or some BS to that effect.

Do you have to link your paypal account to a bank account for this to happen?

No, you just link it to your VISA card. It won't allow bank accounts to be connected (not in T&T anyhow).
