Pedestrian knocked down under El Socorro walkover

This pedestrian was thrown into the air as he attempted to cross the Churchill Roosevelt Highway just under the El Socorro walkover. Why didn't they use the walkover?!

Big discussion pon the whatsapp groups as to which car hit him.. The Rx and he was then pivoted into the Tiida? Or is it the Tiida alone?

To me it looks like the RX8 hit him and he landed on the Tiida as it swerved to avoid hitting him again.

No sympathy here, fed up see these pedestrians do this sheit on a regular basis.

It good for him yes. Blasted jackass. And it's not even like the highway is in any way clear. Here's hoping the Tiida isn't third party because that repair bill will really hurt an innocent driver because a man decided to play Frogger and lose his quarter.

guys in a case like this , is the pedestrian liable to get any sort of compensation from the driver or the insurance agency?

can the pedestrian sue either the driver or the insurance company?

I believe pedestrians are not allowed on the highway. So driver most likely is in the clear

Laziness pure and simple. Why go through the trouble of walking up and over a highway using a walkover when you can just cross it with a merry, "bounce me nah/nottin go happen to me" attitude.

This is the problem with Trinis, time and time again the government build walkovers for people all over this country and Trinis with their "bounce meh nah" attitude refuse to use it.

And is not like it was clear and he took a run. Man casually walk across and dodging cars yes

The driver would get off scotch free. I've had to manage a case like this before and the fact that a walkover was there and not being used is the key point

The car in front of the RX8 swerved to avoid him. The RX8 driver could not see him before the lead car swerved. The RX8 hit him and launched him onto the Tiida.
