Driving lessons: Class 5

Postby spranga » February 9th, 2017, 9:41 pm

As the topic states, I'm looking for a person or driving school that can facilitate me for some driving lessons.

I have regulations late March, so I wanna get some practice in before that.

Thanks much.

where are you doing the exam?
IIRC to rent the truck+trailer for the exam alone was around $2k

I paid 1500 about 4 years ago to do my Class5. That was the truck rental.
The whole Class5 is highly bobol centric (if that makes sense)
The whole exam, ability to get use of a trailer truck to practice etc. lends itself to paying to get the licence. 95% (butt stats to give you an illustration of how much) pay to get that licence, 50% never use it, and the rest go out there to practice/learn on the road and on peoples equipment. Scary thoughts.
Bottom line is unless you own a tractor unit or have a real good partner who is going to let you practice on his sheit.. you gonna end up passing bribe to get your 5.
