Huawei P9 camera is awesome. Far better than the other models you listed.

Why no Apple products tho?

Well except S7 is supposedly water resistant and supports SD cards.

Strangely enough I contemplated just this question yesterday and compared these phones on gsmarena.

I am waiting for the S8 ... P9 ... looks interesting but no wireless charging and no amoled screen is a deal breaker to me.

A google pixel XL would be the most significant upgrade from a s6 edge or the oneplus 3T.

I went with the oneplus mainly because it offers near identical performance to the pixel but at a much more affordable price.

you heard and based on that you never liked the brand?

both Apple AppStore and Google Play have tons of paid and free apps. Usually if an app is free on Google Play it will be free on AppStore and vice versa. Also if an app is made by a company, say Nintendo makes a Mario game, or if Microsoft has an Office App, it is up to that company to determine if the app is free or what the cost will be, it's not up to the phone manufacturer to say the app won't be free.

Apple usually only has one or two devices and are comparable with other flagship devices, unlike Samsung or Huawei that will have 12 devices from low end to high end. Currently Apple only has the iPhone 6S, 7, 7Plus and SE with only the 7 and 7 Plus being their latest. Both are high end.

The iPhone 7 starts at US$649 and the Samsung S7 starts at US$670 and the S7 Edge at US$770.

I had a Huawei Ascend up to Sep last year and then a One Plus 2...I must say I miss the Huawei. Surprisingly I rather enjoyed their Emotion UI. With One Plus you getting a bare boned UI in Oxygen.
They were both 5.5" and had a 13mp camera and even though it wasn't the Leica that Huawei took decent photos. The OPT far exceeds in memory, chip and RAM however bc the Huawei was a TSTT freebie it was worth it for the price:-)

If the P9 is close in price to a One Plus I would buy the P9.

The camera on mine stopped working after 3 months, no AF,customer support from one plus is horrid, I have to send it back to China to get it fixed and I have to pay for shipping both ways.

I'm not a phone/techie, i just need something that can deliver the MOST awesome photos for work/website/pleasure (  )
everything else is NOT REALLY that important, i'm buying for the camera. From all online reviews, the s7 seem to be kicking major arse, is it worth it?

P9 has a poor chipset and it is a Chinese chipset at that. But you will only be affected if you are a hardcore gamer playing latest graphically intense games for literally everyone else you could go with P9 lite for way cheaper

Note 5 and S7 are either samsung or qualcomm chipset and work a lot faster but again depends on your use.

What is attractive about the P9 and P9 lite is its amazing aluminum body for its price. It is built very premium no shortcuts for an amazing price. If you go P9 lite you could get it for $1900 from right here brandnew on Tuner and you get the full premium feel of any aluminum phone. It will not be as fast as the samsung but its still incredibly fast as you would expect from any modern handset now.

I agree.. Have been an avid user of both a pixel and iphone7.

For me I stuck with the iphone 7 as my daily driver because of my abundant apple ecosystem at home but otherwise the pixel worth the investment.
