Rocko's Modern Life
Powerpuff Girls
Freakazoid (produced by Steven Spielberg btw)
Animaniacs
Pinky and the Brain

The last good children's cartoon is Phineas and Ferb. All cartoons after that are just loud noises and bright colours meant to distract the viewer from the fact that theyes watching crap. On a related note, why do children in children shows all act like they are drugged up on cocaine or a bunch of Jim Carrey wannabes?

Popeye got nerfed badly the longer he was around. Looks like his power level was way over 9000 in the beginning.

Why Phineas and Ferb? Its just like Regular Show, no real storyline, just a new set of pointless shenanigans everytime

I'd say Adventure Time is the last good children's cartoon for all ages. It has bright colours to visually stimulate the younger kids, BUT, for the grownups it has a really complex storyline with each character having a unique sub story. Plus they touch on a lot of grown up issues WRT relationships and sometimes they get educational.

Steven Universe is another good one with a storyline, but that's more for tweens.

And well Uncle Grandpa is just a bad LSD trip, but you hadda appreciate the animation itself though.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Also you wanna talk bout Jim Carrey wannabes but one of your favorite cartoons is Freakazoid? HE ACTS JUST LIKE JIM CARREY IN THE MASK

(I like freakazoid eh, I just wanted to point out your crates of hippos  )

Gargoyles was good
But never could get over the the opening scene
Where they scaling building by jamming their claws into the sides of the building and the concrete crumbles, takes extreme strength to that but in fight scenes with humans they getting licks.(I know is cartoon eh)

One of my favs was teknoman
Loved his humor even when he getting licks.
