Takedowns are worth more points. So if the match goes to decision and its 50/50 striking/ cage control etc, the takedown points will fall in your favor..most of the time. Thats why in some fights ppl try to "shoot for a takedown" coming down to the end of the round, especially in the final rounds.

Adesanya vs Romero tonight.

Wonder if Izzy could pull this one off. Already the baddest mofo in UFC but Romero is a different kinda beast. Man had to cut level weight to make weigh in @185 , sure he’s back to about205lbs tonight already

Yea that women’s card insane, should have been the main event tbh.

Izzy fought smart to hold onto the title but that was a severely disappointing fight. Expected way more from both.

Agree with the Max statement but it wasn't as bad of a robbery as people made it out to be , judges tend to lean on the side of the champion. Blessed era = over ? haha

Jorge will probably get that rematch with Marty but that's a tall hill to climb , dude is truly elite . Wanna see Colby vs Woodly so bad. Looking forward to Till vs Bobby Knuckles and Izzy vs jacked Ricky Martin . Truly amazing dana is getting things done during the pandemic.

Head kick stunned Costa early and those jabs cut him up. The leg kicks slowed him down and Izzy's feints made him hesitant... that last combo left hook grazed his temple and finishing punches is all it took. Surgical bizniss.
