I doubt GL there, because Steppenwolf said that there's "no Lanterns, no Kryptonians" to protect Earth in the trailer.
Likely, it's a teaser placed there to introduce the idea of a Green Lantern for future storyline. I hope the studio does this.

As for the mystery character at the end of the trailer, it likely could be one of the reincarnations of Superman (real Superman, Superboy or Steel) that appeared in the comics after "Death of Superman."

main heroes come together...fight assorted henchmen...wait for the real big bad to show up while bringing in other lesser heroes for the big "final" battle

There's a green glow reflecting off Alfred's glasses though but If that was said ok, GL is sheit anyway

hmm, fellas think about this one! The Henry Cavill casting could just be flashbacks of Superman in the film.

I think those thumps you see in the glass could be a Boom Tube opening. And it could be Orion coming from New Genesis coming to aid Earth, because the real Darkseid sheit is about to go down soon. Alfred: "They said you'd come." And that scene also looks like one of those post-credits money shots.

I mean, think about it. Nothing on Earth could stand up to Darkseid and his type on Apokolips, except maybe Superman (barely though). Parademons will keep coming, and that's what all the main fighting is about in this film. Parademons are like ants compared to the New Gods. So someone has to come to help in the next real fight.

Bro, they will not make a Justice League film....the first one....and not have Superman live in the timeline in it.

Darkseid should be in the next Justice League, with the league having a few more members to take him on much like Avengers and how they started with the core and now in Infinity Wars everybody and their mama joining the team and fight.

Superman is the iconic leader and obviously the death and return storyline is being used, Snyder couldnt even help himself with the lil teaser at the end of bvs. Superman is a dead certainty in the movie. That said tho, epic epic epic trailer.
