Instead of rehashing old stuff they should have made something new. Like a series with the Prometheus.

I literally just finished re-watching Season 2 again and watched this same trailer before coming here 5 minutes ago. Looking forward to the premier of season 3.

Seeing an interesting discovery spin off in the pipe line....star trek: strange new worlds, featuring the enterprise in the pre kirk Era with pike and spock picking up where the uss discovery left them in the 23rd century.

I gave up on this show towards the end of its first season maybe it is time I rediscover discovery after all I watch all of Picard which was very disappointing. The first season wasnt that bad.

This keeps coming up in my suggestions based on having recently completed Lost In Space.
Not a big fan of the Trek but I see the consensus here is that it worth the view.

Once I finish up the series I on now would take this in.
One question - Do you need to know the other series for any backstories?

it's better if you don't, so the sht writing and senseless fabrications to create forced drama won't annoy you
Some of the acting is awful as well....like watching a SyFy B-movie

Unless you are into the woke feminist movement you would be better off skipping it.If you want to watch good star trek watch any of the other series except this & Picard.

I couldn't get past ep2 of discovery, didn't like how they was presenting the klingons; had hoped it would get better.
Real enjoying DS9 these days, benjamin sisko is the 2nd best starfleet captain!

Polygon says it's turning into Star Trek

Space.com says it's one of the best episode yet

Just saw S03E01
It was good!
Really felt more like Star Wars than Star Trek but curious to see where they go with it.
