Does the government plan on addressing crime?

Postby BRZ » May 5th, 2016, 11:21 am

So people being robbed all over the country, peoples private camera systems catching them in the act, yet this government does NOT seem interested in properly and effectively dealing with it- WHY?
And why is the general public NOT protesting more about it?

The latest RObbery, the car that was stolen was found by police on the PORT , the vehicle was supposed to be shipped off to Guyana, yet No arrests, no customs officials involved?

Because the government's main focus right now is the opposition, especially for Rowley. The poor fellows who voted them in is placed on the back burner.

More praises for them if the opposition criminals are jailed first, the citizens should sit down, stfu and fend for themselves.

you saying that the baddies & thieves concerned about a rise in property tax? Soon the fishermen go start complaining about the rate of income tax in the country and how the medical care system is toots.

The government is an accurate reflection of the people who voted them into office.

That is all.

The govt always give the public their crime plans. They always have plans.

Is any of it effective? NO.

How many murders are solved per year?
How many kidnapped persons are found?
How many drug lords are jailed?

This country is awesome for criminals. you can literally do anything and get away with it.

Everyday newspapers report stories of Rape/murder/robbery/kidnapping and we just flip the page to read about some racial price bachannal.

such is life in Trinidad.

Govt so far has focused its ammunition on Law Abiding citizens of this country. Law abiding citizens are under siege from the Criminals as well as the Govt.

Actually Larceny Motor Vehicles is down compared to last year.

The shitty part about all of this is if a man come to kill you and you call the police they will never come. The first excuse is they have no vehicle, the second excuse is we don't have any available offers tonight.
