http://www.amazon.com/Black-Box-G1W-C-C ... ords=g1w+c

I'm currently using this.
Good buy

Look for one with a capacitor and not a battery. The heat in this country will cause those batteries to fail in less than two months.

The beauty of a dedicated dash cam is that you can set it and forget it.

It comes on when you start the car and turns off when you exit.

While I admit the quality is nowhere near the average smartphone, convenience outweighs it all.

Same one I suggested above, except I'd suggest the one with the capacitor. (G1W-C)
How long have you had yours?

70mai is budget friendly and worth the money
I'd advised on purchasing the cables to have it hardwired as my first one of roughly two years battery started to act up.

Wifi connected .
Parking mode : sensor activated to record on its own.
Voice commands to take photos and start recording

Imported my own stuff for the hard wire kit. Would check back my amazon account and see if I can provide pics/links . Didn't hardwire the new one (70mai pro yet ) you can do it as DIY project or someone who installs alarms/ gps can install it.

I'd have liked the plates to the side to be more ligeible. Also found it had to too close to the vehicle in front to see that plate. Then there's the android app issue.

I use a old Samsung Galaxy S7 I had kicking around the house.

Dash cam App set to come on automatically when the phone sense it’s in landscape mode and plugged in at same time.

Records on both cameras same time.

Neat solution tbh. What is the exact name of the app you use?
