I need recommendations for Land Surveyor

Postby EFFECTIC DESIGNS » October 13th, 2015, 1:25 pm

Good day,

I will like to get a contact number for a land surveyor "they will have to walk through some bush"
Its located Piarco area, easy to find, the area is 1 and a quarter acre. Not sure if tall grass is an issue I cut as much as I could so far.

Want someone good and who does all the necessary paper work and have it recorded with town and country etc. Let me know who you guys can recommend it will be much appreciated.

Thanks.

What kind of land survey do you need?

A topographical survey - determine elevations of land

A cadastral survey - set out legal boundaries of land

Hi I just need to find the 4 corners of the land to determine legal boundry to setup my fence, its a flat piece of land and its square. So I am assuming its a cadastral survey.

I got in contact with someone and he said $6000 to survey the Acre and a Quarter. Its 10 lots in total, is this a fair price? cause most people saying $7500 to $10,000.

Go with a licenced land surveyor, it might cost a bit more but you will get a Legal document that can stand up in court if need be.

here is a list of surveyors
http://tntyp.com/Trinidad/SURVEYORS-LAND
http://www.instituteofsurveyors.com/new ... aphic.html

6000 is a good price
just make sure you tell him you need the paperwork.
they handle that with getting it registered but it normally takes a few months to get all paper work.

Are you just looking to determine the boundaries of the property? Are you building something and something like construction staking?

Bumping this thread because I'm looking for someone who does this.

Any recommendations? Typical price?

Hi @thelem-again

At the time when I got a deal to survey my land back in 2015 when I made this thread, I paid $7000 to survey 1.5 Acres and it was a good deal back then.

The fella who did it for me he living in the house just opposite constantine trace in St Helena is a big purple house with some elephant statues.

His prices were by far the best and I highly recommend him everything he did was legit.
