^^it's not that hard once you get into it.

Been pruning after some heavy wind took it's toll on some plants. Decided to give the ficus a heavy lean and a twisted stair effect to work around for now. Seems to like it's new spot and training. Had a bad crack in the first branch, but super glue and some water it's caught back. Hit the cherry a little twisting to add strength and trimmed so it's weight wont bend it or cause uprooting. Trying to keep the holly flat and separate as two individuals for the forest affect.

Trees are 17-24 years old.
Not living there DM, she does have lots more though, but these are the best looking ones imo

Russel post up some more from your mom, good inspiration. Still waiting for the right moment to ninja an old variegated bougainvillea from my parents yard.

If you want an established bonsai up-market has a guy, or you can check out any of the horticultural displays they put on. If you want to learn and train your own (with out spending hundreds) Any plant shop with Ficus, Snow Rose, Bougainvillea, Olive Tree's, Holly etc can start you off.
