Me, i wasn't there. But the evidence of the first picture (and tires) tells the whole story. The truck could have been in the right lane and driven by Santa Claus. What difference it makes? Trucks in Trinidad only drive in the left lane or what? How it caused such an accident? And I not sure why a police constable can't have a 2nd part time job, or how it coming into your argument. I really not sure what is your personal problem with Trinidad Police officers but i notice your hatred of them in most of your posts.

Just from the first pic i not seeing how the truck could have caused that impact where the entire front was smashed and collapsed, yet the doors and sides remain clean. That was a direct frontal impact caused by speed and poor driving habits by the Tiida driver. Why would anyone drive so close behind a truck so you can't slow down enough in time or get in another lane? What the truck swerved? Then why no impact evidence on the sides? Suddenly stopped on the highway with no lights? Reversed straight into them at 100km/hr? Yes, in fact, the stereotype of the Tiida fits in Trinidad. At 5am too. Most DUI accidents occur between 2am and 6am. Try to be a better driver yourself if you can't see those things and avoid them. Everybody who drives and saw those pics knew instantly what the story was.

Yes, I am making a lot of stupid conclusions, just an opinion. But i prefer to be a jackass behind a keyboard to point these things out to you and your equally ridiculous reactive response, than be a jackass behind the wheel of a car and kill people then bawl how oh the police so wicked.

My condolences for your loss, i know people react unreasonably during grief.

O K

He not wrong, but let me give you another scenario.

I driving at 60-70kmph slammed into a small Hyundai truck from behind and was blamed by all parties.

Was it my fault that a parked truck suddenly swerved onto my lane? I wish back then had dashcams because that was 100% unavoidable for me. Yet the truck man say I slammed into him from behind. Despite me even showing police officers the mud tracks of the same truck pulling onto the road (no indicator). All they saw was a young boy who they could blame.

So it's still likely the tiida drivers fault but we don't know for sure unless camera footage is revealed.

^ thanks for sharing your story to show how the event i desctibed can in fact happen. Invest in a front and rear dashcam i got mines for 2400. A bit pricey but i have so much more peace of mind on the road cause i know once i survive the accident no one can dare question my recount of the events that led to the accident.

Remember when the doctor Sharma was kidnapped and died in the car crash, the footage of his CRV flipping like 15 times was from a highway camera

iirc, there's a CCTV camera just after the endeavour flyover pointing in the exact direction that the accident happened. How come no footage yet?

This is exactly why underride bars are installed. Sadly, the vast majority of them seem to be cosmetic. You may be better off swerving in to oncoming traffic.

How much demerit points for fleeing the scene of an accident? Then causing another while fleeing and still failed to remain at the scene of the 2nd one. Ohhh the prosecution won't take kindly to that.
Then the insurance company will apply the penalties for her future premiums.

Maybe she can get a Colfire Female Safe Driver discount after.

Lol the law still isn’t too clear on if she flee the scene unless she went immediately to the station

And we don't know if she fled either, never to be seen again. Also the police arriving at the scene has a duty within reasonable suspicion to breathalyzer test either at the scene or at the station. If the person shows up 6 hours later at the station, what happens to that breathalyzer test results? If this wasn't recorded on video, well too bad for the other people. It's only your word that you're going to the Police station.

If you don't exchange information with the other party you failed to remain at the scene of an accident. You can exchange info and then go to the station and report the names and addresses of all parties involved. Carefully read Motor Vehicles and Road Traffic Act, Chap. 48:50 Section 79 (1) (a) (b) and (c) (Pages 79 -80)

Saw this video but no one credibly says it’s her for sure because we would all have her name by now . Police had to lift her up in that video to take her out the gym . She looks similar but can’t say 100% it’s her

Videotaped his car on the road and they threaten to lock me up for videotaping without permission. I have 3 police receipts for visits on three seperate occasions for trying to make a statement. This happened on June 1st 2020 and till now nothing process yet. Till this date the spot where the accident took place has not been measured.
