WTK: 4G Data - digi or bmobile??

Postby silverfire » February 5th, 2015, 2:38 pm

I've always had digi which has been fast for me except in the chaguanas area, regardless of full reception. Lately my download speeds have been less than 1mb.

I tried bmobile for a month some time ago but the problem for me was no data in areas where I had no reception...digi beats bmobile for reception anyday.

Can anyone tell me what speeds you get on either digi or bmobile? Which is faster?

^ speed depends on where you are and the quality of signal. How stable the speed is depends on your location and how often you are there.

Digicel 4g faster.
Initially I had bmobile 4g but that crap was slow (youtube videos not loading etc in pos area).
Switched to digicel 4g, no problems. Digicel dead areas are few and at least you still get regular cell service. Bmobile dead areas, no data and no cell service. My phone is a samsung dual sim, currently have a bmobile and digicel sim installed.

Note i stopped using bmobile almost a year now. Not sure if they improved their service...dont care to use them again.(Calls to my bmobile numbers almost never show up on the phone as a missed call, lost out on job opportunites. The voicemail came 4 days after, unacceptable).

I've noticed that there are certain dead zones in the Freeport area with bmobile.
Not sure if/when they'll address this issue.

Bmobile data is the worst. Switched to digicel for data and never regretted it.
