Cause is TTEC low voltage surges, power fluctuating on the port right now.

ODPMTT: This is a Public Notice to inform that the Power Generation Company of Trinidad and Tobago Limited (PowerGen) is currently experiencing some technical difficulties at their Port of Spain location. We were informed that affected areas include Port of Spain, Woodbrook, St. Ann’s, Cascade, Santa Cruz and Barataria and that this situation should be rectified by midday.

a blown transformer will affect Port of Spain, Woodbrook, St. Ann’s, Cascade, Santa Cruz and Barataria?

What actually take place is that when an incident occurs endless calls enter T&TEC's system and no amount of telephone operators will be able to answer every single one.

So while the operators are dealing with some calls, others are unavoidably unanswered.

Always try: 800-8832
