Skidz, I thought so too but with all these fireworks going up for the past 2 days and with all those tents pitching up once again, I assume the laws were a bit "relaxed".

Ever notice how the least educated people does make the most noise to show off for some reason? Be it fireworks or loud music, or just talking loud in general.

Have very reduced amount of noise this year by me. Hopefully the money that some folks would normally choose to literally burn on these occasions, they would have donated it to some flood relief this year.

Yup it has been the most quiet lead up to Divali I could ever remember. No scratch bombs no bamboo nothing.b
