So they played an entire group stage where topping it meant nothing??

Normally as a bonus for coming 1st you get 2 shots at the final (or go straight into the final in some years)

True...not sure why it was structured like that this year. I know IPL doing that years now

With no fans and teams that have up to 4 overseas players as well as some regional players can you truly say there was such a thing as home advantage??

SKNP played with 6 Trinis - they should be as Home as TKR was

What's the thinking behind having the 1st semi final as well as the final start at 10 AM? Only thing I can figure is they trying to catch the UK prime time tv audience. But those early times means they sacrificing the north American and Caribbean TV audience. Most ppl gonna be at work at those times.

Indian TV market. 10am is 7.30 pm in India. Prime time

BTW: If you watch the CPL live on YT, you will see that the audience is mainly from India / Pakistan / Bangladesh.

Dean Jones the Aussie middle order batsman from the 80s and 90s has died. I remember him most for when he asked Ambrose to take off his wrist bands after which Ambi wrecked the Aussies.
