A lil throwback - Dec 16th 1992
Phil Simmons bowled a spell in ODIs to Pakistan that may never be repeated. The most economical 10 overs ever - 10overs-8 maidens-3runs-4wickets

Shout out to Pakistan's keeper Rasheed Latiff for making 8 of 72 balls.

India got a 53 run lead bowling out the Aussies for 191 and are batting 9-1.

Shaw looking horrible as an opening batsman. This is where a Sharma or Dhawan would be useful.

I now coming to post the same thing.

Unbelieveable. But Hazelwood's bowling was out of this world.

Three matches, all going good so far.

India with the upper hand against Australia, South Africa taking the ascendancy against SL currently and NZ Pakistan where the Pakistani's just avoided the follow on by 3 runs.
There is a man with the weirdest batting stance ever on the Pakistan team. Fawad Alam - Basically Chanders on steroids. Also the Pakistanis batted rather boringly last night (or conversely the Kiwis bowled rather brilliantly). At one stage Pakistan were 100-7 after 63 overs. That's more than two sessions!!

Enjoying that India test, starting to wonder if Koli should just be there as a batsman and Rahane the skipper

Kohli has a particular aggressiveness that Rahane doesn't have. Maybe if Kohli's form was to dip and they need him to focus on batting only but until then he seems to be coping well with the burden.

Rahane employed some t20 fielding tactics during the Aussie first innings. Real ballzy move but it worked. Not sure if Virat would have done same

I would keep Jadeja as the all-rounder and drop Vihari for Rahul.

Saha also is a much better keeper than Pant. Do they want a batsman who keeps or a keeper who can bat?

Went to sleep with the NZ Pakistan match at tea and Pakistan 4 wkts down. Really thought they did enough to hold out for a draw. Woke up to a NZ win.

Maybe the best of the three boxing day matches!!!

Kane Williamson on a next level these days. I stayed up just to see him make the double hundred. Rain fell with him on 199 and I switched the channel only to miss it....steups!!!

NZ to likely beat Pakistan on Day 4 whilst SA beat SL in 3 days this morning

Last night showed why you need your best keeper and not a batsman who keeps. Pant dropped something like two catches at crucial points in the innings

Australia has a large eastern European population particularly after the fall of Yugoslavia. Slavic names like Pucovski's are common in the Socceroos. Guess culturally they knew football from before anyhows

AUS - IND match nicely poised in the second session of the final day! Not a fan of either side but haven't regretted watching this test. Match could still go either of three ways.

Pant threw his hand away. But he batted as he normally does so I guess he was true to himself
