Only the 9th time in all of international cricket (tests, odis and T20s) has this happened.

Last person dismissed obstructing the field was Xavier Marshall in 2019 (he was playing for USA by then).

Obstructing the field always comes with the question mark: Was the player doing it intentionally or not?

On viewing the clip that appeal does seem a bit harsh ah.

If I'm not mistaken, the ICC laws documents the obstruction as "accidental or intentional". Be that as it may, I don't think it was in the spirit of the game to appeal.

I recall a match where 2 balls were remaining in a match and Courtney Walch was bowling. He could have mankad the non striker and won the match but chose not to. WI ended up losing.

How does Shai Hope be such a monster in ODIs but be such an abject failure in Tests.

5th highest career average by a test team player and only led by some legends or potential legends -Kohli, ABD, Bevan and Babar.

In tests he barely could be considered average.

His natural game is more suited to ODI's.

I must give WI credit.

2nd successive 1st wicket century stand in the 50 overs.

WI currently 170 / 0 chasing 274 to win - Lewis 93 no; Hope 72 no.

Well WI finally won and is the highest run chase WI ever had against SL and the highest run chase on this Antigua ground as well. I think the recently concluded Super 50 tournament helped our players alot in terms of match preparation for this upcoming ODI series even Lewis said so during his Man of The Match award as well.

Let's hope we can get the whitewash in the final match on Sunday!

Yes, same ground also so they are well used to the pitches/conditions etc.

These West Indian guys finally get serious about WI cricket as they need to rebuild their reputation and image to get back in the favours of IPL and other T20 league clubs.....
So they will play their best now until they get selected to another T20 club league making the millions....then they will forget WI cricket again.....

anybody can tell me what happed to Carlos Brathwaithe?

Guys who's gonna win this one?
WI leaked away too much runs at the end...
We dont have an opening partnership to rely on now....
Hopefully hope could remain and steady the innings.....

Only thing windies missing is a proper bowling attack in the shorter formats. Teams like Ind, Aus and Eng would milk them

Reminder of the significance of the just completed ODI matches. As India hosts the next world cup they are already qualified meaning only the top 7 teams automatically to the WC. WI are currently in the top 7 but NZ and SA yet to play matches in this so called Super League.
