Needs a few days to set properly, those parts place does sell it. Get the 3M one in the cartridge if you buying.
Option 2: get the part machined by the poly bushing man in cunupia. As long as it can run on the lathe, he will make it.
He did some custom leaf spring pads for my van. I drew up the measurements and sent it for him.pugboy wrote:i never seen that sold in tubes like how the silicone is sold, will check.

i have a sthil with like 6 sprangs on the sprocket. but want sumting a lil bigger.
i want to try making a grinder into a chain saw. but the small one i have, cant fit onto the grinder shaft. so if i could find a larger sprocket with like 8 teeth , it might work.

A nice electric chainsaw is about US$50. A replacement bar and chain costs about US$25.
IMHO - Unless you already have the bar, chain and an bar chain oiler oiler, the corded electric saws work well and will give many years of service. The controls layout make them much more safe than a grinder also.

pugboy wrote:angle grinders are the jack of all tools
but how safe is it to use as a chainsaw ?
chainsaws usually have a pivot fence to press against so it does not kick or bite back
pugboy wrote:its probably safest used on thin branches like 1" or so
its when you cut thick material the blade will bind from side friction and then the bacchanal start

Excellent Brand. Bought my Leatherman over 20 years ago, and I still use it on the job today. Never had to sharpen the knives.philliprock wrote:leatherman skeletool.
