i have 1 or 2 extra brand new flush cutting router bits diablo & makita 2" flutes [1\2" shaft] if anybody wants it to buy ......

The bits usually made from high speed steel, such as the m2 steel, m35 steel and m42 steel. Because they need very high hardness to satisfy the needs of applications.

All seals changed for about 350ttd with machine work.

Fwiw, I'd you're using the expanded metal for a grill on a BBQ pit, don't use the galvanized one. The heat from the flames deteriorates the galvanized coating which in turn releases noxious chemicals which can be absorbed into your food.

Paint it with a marine paint as a primary rust prevention, the zinc coating will act as a secondary protection.
Just because its steel that gonna be wet often.

a friend used 5/8 pvc sheet and a 1/2 inch router bit to cut channels in the board every 8 inches
no issues with water, and not as cold for the dogs

That's a good solution for the dog doesn't try to dig through it - mine would. I have also used treated 1x4 boards that are spaced like decking. The floors were replaceable and easily cleaned but heavy.

Testers from CPF, BLF and batteryuniversity seem to agree that Energizer and Duracell alkalines are about that the same. Energizer lithium cells are superior but expensive and Panasonic Eneloops are probably the best NiMH followed closely by Sony.

I personally can't tell much difference between Eneloops and Sony if you use a better charger.

Been using Eneloops for years now.
The set I currently use I bought maybe over 10 years ago and they are still going strong.
They also keep their charge for a really long time in storage

Buy once and done

The eneloops seem to deteriorate with lack of use.
I have some for my flash, which is rarely used and now they give me significantly less pops

eneloops and duracell rechargeable from pricesmart are the best
however nimh runs at 1.2v so some devices may not work well, i have a blood pressure monitor which is such

duracell alkaline are the worst for leaking

Nickel based batteries can be restored to increase energy storage. The process is complex but some chargers have a refresh cycle built in.

Almost at a lost for words!
Great job.
If I put that time and effort into an old tool, I may not use it again.
