Ridgid power tools are Home Depot only. There are other brands of diamond blades for metal.

Metal blades work well, few sparks but are very noisy and can throw shavings.

It's amazing how things like face shields and goggles work isn't it?

I am referring to the shavings that are left behind after cutting. It's a cleanup issue -- not a PPE issue.

If you can just leave the shavings, so be it. Otherwise, they are a likely hazard and will be a source of rust stains.

To collect filings and shavings, I use a fairly large neodymium magnet but it may not be a option for many. They cost about US$300 plus D&V.

MILWAUKEE M6086-30 7inch grinder TOOL REVIEW , i bought this last wk & only today got time to test it

https://www.facebook.com/toolstorett/ph ... =3&theater

milwaukee's slogan is "nothing but heavy duty" & they dont lie - seems to be a very solid , powerful, smooth running well built machine that doesnt suddenly jerk when switched on unlike some of those old time grinders

best part is d price $849, where u gonna get any top brand for this price BNIB & 2yr warranty [L&D says u have to bring it in to them every 6tmhs for a free check up to honor their warranty]

only negative i can say is :
gearbox [not motor] seems to get a bit warm but doesnt seem to affect anything
not commonly found on google & not much reviews [cud be a overseas or older outdated model] but say what , i took a gamble knowing M always makes very good stuff & for d price its a deal

90% of most jobs ur normal 4.5" grinder will do but i recommend it for heavier duty jobs that a lil grinder will struggle on ... :|

Thanks for the reply. Where do I find this type of blade locally? Not necessarily in Ridgid brand

INGCO and Total spec tools to be made by many, many Asian manufacturers. They do not manufacture their own products.

This year's model may not be the same as last year's. Unless you can be model number specific and get those users' opinions, the only option remaining is to decide for yourself.
Thanks , where can I get pressure water fittings, trying to get a fitting to hook to my foam cannon.

Like a socket to go into the wall or a desk?
You have to check those interior design places that do offices and stuff for "pop up plugs."

Have the exact one paid abt $400 for it at the time. Holds a HUGE amount of liquid and no spill.
