I'm on the early morning open their doors crowd, but they honestly open too late, so if i'm in POS 6/6:30 it would either be Hyatt or Sbux

I have 2 and they work great. Can't use fine ground in them though. The sealing gasket seems to be a problem after a while. Im not sure they can be replaced but otherwise, great for that extra strong shot of get up and go in the morning...

I went away early July and bought quite a few bags of coffee but they're in the barrel. When I get them I'll post the collection.

I brew my morning cup with the Keurig and the reusable basket. Stopped using k cups years now. Comes out pretty nice, but nothing beats the Moka pot. I told wifey that if ever the Keurig conks out, I'll upgrade to a nice espresso home brewer like a gaggia. #drool

I have a gaggia classic collecting dust

I also use a kcup machine with refillable baskets
with good quality beans and a more importantly a good grinder the quality is very consistent.

Why don't you use the gaggia?

Had stopped as it was hard to get fresh beans around 2012
But there are local roasters with good beans now though
Star lite, full bloom etc

A real espresso machine uses high pressure water
Which amplifies the quality or staleness of the beans

Yes man. That's the thing self!!!!!

Looks like a bialetti as well but I could be wrong.

That Moka pot make some wicked brews.

If you up to it, next time, put a small touch of spice (nutmeg, cinnamon, cardamom) for a nice taste.

Aye,

In Kingston you can go directly to the factory where they roasting coffee roasters and Marley coffee and buy there. Prices are about 60-75% supermarket price, free tasting and fresher, since it's roasted and bagged right there. Just say I woulda share.

I like to sample coffees. The only brand I will regularly buy is Lavazza. I don't particularly like Hong wing coffee as it tastes a bit stale all of the time even though it's a fresh pack, but that's me. Oddly enough, a coffee that I quote like is the Chief brand coffee. It's quite strong but admittedly lacks in anything else.

So when I travel, I buy what I have never tasted with some repeat buys, like the Godiva or Lavazza.

@carluva, thats plenty stocks. Do you use one pack at a time or have multiple packs open? I find the ground ones tend to lose the fresh taste after a few weeks even in an air tight container

Yeah boy. I lost count when buying but it is alot. I really went a lil greedy dere. That'll last me about 5-7 months.

I use one pack at a time. I don't open more than one at a time cause it will get stale.

I'll have a pack at home and one at work (where I use a French press).

Maybe peppercorns.

But don't waste your time on pods. Buy a reusable Keurig basket, buy your own coffee, brew to your liking and save the environment while you are at it.
