no scene...I jumped to the conclusion it was Digicel and now I don't even know why lol

I had a similar issue and it needed re-provisioning

it is also possible they may need to switch to a new 4g plan which is what I had to do with digicel as well

I posted about digi early so probably it's that.

I thought it was easy as that, I called in and the awesome reps at bmobile told me it not possible. I'll check IT tmrw because they did it on a Z10 previously and it worked :| Switching plans is not an option since it is a corporate plan.

That's how I has data on the z10 before they launched it.

Bis data and a 4g plan,
Is it the 100-1 or a 100-2

Not sure if it will still work that way since they launched the specific BB10 plan

D strange thing is it works fine on another z10 with the same corporate plan. What's worse is that now IT told me they could have used any phone. Not just a z10. I'll see what happens in the morning again
Its the 100-3. Compatible with our band for H+.

the man have to change the plan yes. The bill shows up as a "4G 5GB BIS" plan but somehow it only provides edge. On top of that they had to place him on a BB10 specific plan now.

What is worse is that he could have bought any other phone but just to avoid the "Change of plan" issue, a blackberry was bought :| thanks bmobile for clarity :|

bmobile and digicel really did some crap with the setting up on OS 10 on their end, as you no longer need BB servers for data

Only the -1 and -3 work in Trinidad with 4g or 3G and edge not the -2 and -4 those can only be used for calls and maybe bbm and emails with the wifi

So the OS10 don't actually need the BB10 plan that they said I had to change to?

in trinidad yes you do need the specific bb10 plan, that's just how they set it up
the rest of the world just needs a data plan

Anyone on the leaked fw?

The 10.2.1.1055 leak seems to be working well so far on the Z30 i'm using, worth a try

I got a Z10 today. Called Digicel and changed my data type. I'm gonna flash the latest leaked BB OS 10.2.1:
http://crackberry.com/leaked-os-1021192 ... kberry-z10
and can't wait to put all the apks on it.
So far I'm sort of liking the OS. The keyboard is MILES ahead of android in terms of accuracy, speed and overall performance. The gestures are a bit cumbersome at times and the Hub is a bit of a task to get used to. I'll see how it goes over the following week or two.

BTW... is it just me or maps on it is absolute garbage? How do you all get around that?
.

Good stuff mate, which maps you talking about I use waze

Waze works well, sideloaded Google maps works well too, there are other options in BB World for mapping.

ditto on the keyboard, i cannot ever f'in go back to not having this predictive text flick up in the air sweetness.

In cell fone bill today I got a lil flyer with some new packages they have. Cheapest BlackBerry one is $345. But that would not be for the BB10 I guess?

If it says BB10 then it would be

Unless they've restructured the plans - which is regular 4g internally to work how it's supposed to

ended up putting the one i posted in the link. Works fine also. No complains from the person who ended up with it. When the official version comes out though, what do i do? just autoload it?

Google maps wasn't installing at all and I wasn't going to pay for that. Waze worked ok.
Once you get accustomed to BB10, it's really hard to, until you use a nexus 5  but yea it get's really smart.. it's almost scary.

Got a z10 to play around with and I flashed this leaked os on my stl-100-1 it had the firmware for all models.

http://forums.crackberry.com/bb10-leake ... dex98.html

It works pretty well I must say, the battery gives me a solid day on heavy usage.

I had to flash this radio also,

http://forums.crackberry.com/bb10-leake ... 30-891107/

And lastly to get full android apps from the phone itself, I use a program called "snap" and you need to get a GSF ID to do this follow the tutorial.

http://forums.crackberry.com/bb10-leake ... -a-874153/

http://forums.crackberry.com/bb10-andro ... de-836241/

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthr ... ?t=2528952

EDIT: In the Beta version of snap you don't need to get a GSF ID so its pretty simple :D

Day 3 with the z10

Very solid device, battery life is very sufficient with heavy usage. Installed a leak M gave me and installed my needed android apks: BBC, Pinterest, moonreader, 365 scores etc. All apps are very smooth some just require Play Services :(

boy, no unlocking bootloader etc, it's a dream come through.

Agreed with the Google support. Haven't loaded snap as yet though.
