A normal cloth mask doesn't protect the wearer as much as it protects everyone around him. so being careful means not just wearing a mask - it means still avoiding ppl who are not, unless the mask u have is a KN95 or N95.

37 new cases

for a Monday, that is quite high! swaps taken from the 9th to 11th- the only day health centres open is the 9th (Friday).

My parents got tested on the 6th and they haven't gotten their results yet. Likely negative though, but I'm wondering what the delay in reporting is right now.

contact 1 of the reporters and let them highlight it for the next conference.

My neighbor waited 11 days in September last year, this is the new norm.

the police were strict but police to some extent in tobago over easter weekend


they would warn you 3-4 times not to drink inside the bar, to keep your mask on if not drinking/eating/smoking
like 9:30 a different crew would come up and start to wrap up things, that batch sharing ticket if you not wearing mask, they eh warning u etc
had police at all the food spots on the strip, as soon as 10pm reach they tell them close up


in pigeon point one night we were liming, the police come at 10pm and say the bar close, for everyone to leave
they then left and never returned, up to 1am had zess in that bar

the next evening the police come at 6pm and say the beach close at 6pm....so the bar close at 6pm...so everyone hadda leave at 6pm

they leave and never return, around 10pm the bar close up


but both nights it wasnt much people. just one crew who were liming together anyway

the average time from infection to symptoms is 5-7 days. 14 is only the max. so considering maybe 5 days to get back test results it would have showed up in 2 weeks or less.

At the end of the day we will have to learn to live with the virus. Locking down and placing restrictions on people is just going to tie the economy down further and the cure can't be worse than the disease that is loss of jobs and lots of people being thrown on the breadline.

it is simple human nature, if persons know cops are out and about enforcing, they will not break the law.
but ttps aint studying that again with any enthusiasm like before.
these citizens are animals who need to be constantly herded or they will continue bad habit behaviour.

just like everybody is driving withing speed limits because they are aware traffic cops are always doing speed checks.

At a time like this ttps should be out and about with ticket book in hand, where them? and why also MOH can't have their own health officers enforcing health regulations, similar to traffic wardens enforcing traffic laws? ppl doh realize what we heading for. or what?

all dem ppl who liming without mask may be bawling in a few weeks when National Lockdown 2.0 hits and they lose their income and Keith doh have any cheque for them to get!
