I went by Congo in Diego to rewire the starter. It was quite cheap, a few hundred. I asked him if it made sense to try to source a new starter...he said if it happens again, he could just rewire it again no problem. So far, the issue has not recurred.YellowCanary wrote:I also have a 3 L Thunder and I notice the ignition lights coming on normal but some times I hear a ONE click sound and does not start. Carry it by a guy paid 2.5K work good 4 mths later same thing just took it but another guy. I am waiting to see the price
He did a service....I guess clean and rewind, possibly? It wasn't expensive and it was quite quick.nervewrecker wrote:Rewire or rewind?
How do you rewire a starter? Unless you mean changing the leads and trigger wire etc.
