WL turbo upgrade

Postby reddo_tuner » December 29th, 2018, 7:18 pm

GD tuners

I know this has prob been thrown around the forum already but I want to change the turbo in my B2500 WL turbo.

many suggested the TD04 ,which i got already (13t). Has any one done this? What should I check/replace/upgrade along side the turbo? what gauges should i have?

I figure i will need a manifold and downpipe, bigger intercooler, should I install a fuel pump to help?

as always your help is greatly appreciated.

On these wl-t, the best first mods are a larger fmic and a less restrictive exhaust. You probably should start here, if you havent already, before switching to a larger turbo.

Hi guys morning.

Is it possible to increase boost pressure on the wlt using the stock turbo? What is the max pressure the engine can handle with out causing any damages?
