Do I need this line to run to the throttle body?

The coolant line running to the throttle body? (GDI engine?)

yup, i researched it and found out that the coolant line is really for cold countries, where the air is like 10-15 degrees c...so it's safe to by-pass that throttle body line and send the water straight back into the engine and i would be getting a colder air intake so hopefully i'll have a bit more speed.

Really I taught it was there to cool the TB.

But that makes sense.

I'll blank it off too.

It will fit but the wiring is different. Folding mirror is 5 pin regular non folding is 3 pin.

Thanks, can the wiring upgraded to 5 pin wire?

That will require some rewiring with 1 or 2 relays involved. This one has the hi and low as two separate bulbs right?

Yes, its has 2 separate bulbs for low & high.
Problem is when I turn on high, low turned off automatically.
I've used similar wiring http://innovativewiring.com/iw/wp-content/uploads/2013/07/H4-to-9005-9006.jpg
I needed low turns on always.

Please guide me in detail.

take a read here http://www.hidplanet.com/forums/showthr ... hed-on-off

this should provide an answer, as it covers both types of wiring, common ground and switched negative

Zero, I've noticed that I got a Lil faster acceleration, nothing to talk about...
I changed the water pump and the timing belt while I was inside there one time. Leaking stopped.

So this fix worked for me.. :drinking:

1.remove cover under steering wheel and unjack the airbag and horn connections
2.remove steering wheel with 8mm torx
3.using 8 socket remove 3 nuts and washers that's holding the airbag/horn component

4.as seen in pic below I drilled out the 4 rivets and without s*iting myself removed the airbag unit.
Image

5.changed the horn wire connection(red wire)
6.using some tape i build up the back of the horn switch and remounted everything and using small nuts and bolt in replacement of the rivets(this part worked for me and may not work for others)

As promised, my CS3A headlamp retrofit.

Before....
Image

Front bumper had to be removed for ease of access. Headlamps removed and heat applied with a heat gun to open headlamps.
Image

Headlamp opened....
Image

Halo ring applied to'ring' that houses the turn signal on chrome bezel within the headlamp.
Image

Projector shrouds, which houses the projector, pre-painted blue and halo rings installed on each. The projector will then be place inside these shrouds and be placed in the middle of the headlamp, where the OEM H4 bulb was. Glare shiled for stock H4 bulb had to be removed.
Image

Headlamp placed on vehicle for testing.
Image

Finished product. Headlamp stuck together with OEM sealant on headlamp. Silicone also applied for a better seal. Left to dry for about 20 minutes.
Image

The 'light up'....
Image

After......
Image

Demon eyes. Some LED diodes placed behind the projector. Makes the projector glow. Purely for aesthetic purposes. It's clear to see why I chose blue.
Image
Image

Output. Height adjustment took place here simultaneously. Headlamp bulbs are now H1. Temperature of bulbs at the time of install was 6000K. Standard 35watt ballasts. Extreme Lighting Accessories HID kit supplied by BrotherHood. :

Note: Street lights are on in the road ahead in this picture.Image

Halo rings as park light and 3000K HID fog lamps.

This is by far the best upgrade I have done to my car. Big up to Bishen and Mark for the install.

most of these retro fit kits come with hid kits as well, this is what you supplied?

Yea, I thought about it eh. Personal choice to not paint the inside black.

Someone else brought the retrofit kit. It did not come with a HID kit. The HID kit is the one that I retail. Aftermarket conversion kit.

Can't say why it does na. Just the effect of the camera I guess. Can't explain dat one.

Yes I had the H1 wired for bi-xenon. Used back the H4 bi xenon relay harness.

saw this in person guys and it looks damn good.

the only thing i didnt like was the wires leading to the projector shroud were kinda visible inside the light housing. the installer could have used white shrink tube to put the wires into- then shrink it down......and hide it neatly below the shroud itself - instead of having red/ black wires showing.

well done BH...
