GDI's don't use regular vacuum for it has an Ecuador controlled one already. 3981404 whatsapp me.

tuners i need some guidance...my gear shift indicator is showing the wrong gear. its a 4speed (invecs-ii) 4g93t gdi. when on 1st it shows 3, on second it shows 2, on 3rd it shows 3,and on 4th it shows 6 :/ ..been doing some reading up and im not sure but could it be a problem with some sort of gear shift or gear position sensor on the transmission ?

there is a gear position sensor on the transmission, right where the linkage attaches to the transmission. just slacken the two bolts and adjust accordingly

I think you mean M11 x 28.5mm from a CD5A

stock VR4 and GSR CM5A bolts are M11 x 19.5 mm

hey folks how hard is it to source a full FWD manual conversion & manual brain for a 4g93t swapped taking place in a ck4 ?

a manual conversion is easy to find and u dont need the manual ecu/harness

anyone see these 93T ck/cm5a selling anywhere besides new age?

That price is what? Engine and box? The works?

Last they quoted me (about 6yrs ago) 4G93T and mivec gearbox $25k :|

That's everything complete for the conversion?

Considering swapping one into a VRG Galant. Have any of you guys ever done it and can give pointers or advise of anything to note. I would reuse the auto/tiptronic tranny.

Also, what kinda fuel economy figures do you guys get with this engine?

Heard stories that the v6 twin turbo engine bolts into a vrg easy with no wiring mods.
Using back the stock GDI transmission, i believe i heard rollingstock saying this or xtech.
that engine sells for less than 10k.

on either the CM5 GSR or CS5 93T GDI has anyone condemned the OEM oil cooler that is located on the block with an external aftermarket oil cooler?

maybe u could run an external cooler in series... dont know what fittings would be needed to replace the factory unit

I need sum advice on a little problem im having with my evo 4, when i unplug the isc nothing changes, i guess it needs replacing, what im asking is if the 4g93 and 4g63 isc is the same or any other replacement can work, thanks

Yes the idle is low when the vehicle is cold and wenever the ac is turned on

I know what isc/iac/stepper motor is. Do you have MAP or MAF sensor. Any stalling on deceleration? Normal WOT?

Maf sensor, it was decelerating and stalled a few times until i raised the idle
