Peeps i just got a 1.5 mm thick GSR metal head gasket from Aussie and that is twice the thickness of the one I bought from New Age (Parish) that everyone says is original. paid about 80USD compared to $1000TTD from New Age. So if anyone needs it let me know i'll link it and many more 4G93T GSR CM5A parts.

Cud get some forged standard or oversize should not cost more than 5k pistons only wiseco or cp. Other than that a full set of stock GSR pistons are hard to come by. Could get one one.

Thanks. Was looking around for a stock set, but if that's too difficult would consider aftermarket.

Anyone down here has them in stock, or best to bring them in myself?

Would evo3 rotor and calipers bolt straight on to my CM5A? will this be adequate for this car since the gsr brakes is completely crap.

Also what impact would evo4 injectors with resisitor pack and maf sensor have on the car? would i need to have it tune? (have a greddy blue just don't know someone to tune it)

I have already upgraded the intercooler and piping 2.5" and the exhaust 2.5"
k&n cone filter, walbro 255 fuel pump & regulator, adjustable cam gear.

still to fit in water/meth kit and forged k1 conrods, will i need to change pistons as well?

Any other upgrade advice would be much appreciated.

evo 3 brakes are direct swap... only need the calipers n rotors!

never experimented with bigger injectors or maf... was running 14.5 psi on stock turbo and there was no need for either upgrade! my setup was tuned via greddy ultimate

if ur going in the engine to upgrade rods, mite as well do pistons, bearings & studs/bolts!
as for the meth, dont see the need unless ur using super or high boost/upgraded turbo

my setup was:
hks ssqv bov
tial wastegate (1 bar spring)
tomie fuel pressure regulator & gauge
walbro 255 intank pump
front mount intercooler (2.5" cold side & 2.25 hot side)
2.5" turbo back exhaust (no cat)
greddy ultimate ecu
car made 210whp & 216wtq on dyno with boost leak

Thanks for the advice. I plan to do a td05 upgrade in the future but i believe i will have to get a custom manifold.

Can the stock rods handle 14.5 psi?

210whp for your setup is pretty good.

Stock works pretty good at 14psi never went higher on mine. Running Safc Neo, eboost 40 boost controller, apexi ignition timing controller hks speed cut defender 2.5 piping front to back not cat daily driven works bess. Turbo excess blow off 2" hot side to 2.5" intercooler piping with front mount.Attachment:Image

Planning on a forged setup have head and block on the ground as spare engine to upgrade. Wiseco pistons Manley rods arp bolts acl main on Conrod kit. Kelford cams mild td05 turbo .510cc Evo injectors.Attachment:Image

anyone having problems with leaking rocker cover (around the bolt holes) dunno if I use to tighten mine too much but I went through a few covers because of this
even bought a brand new cover, which was hand tightened and it still leaked

Cover itself or throught the gasket?

The torque on the head bolts is feather tight......at least on the 4G92 mivec. Should be similar for the 4G93. 5nm or so. Will have to double check.
