Double Din problem

Postby Liquid » March 25th, 2014, 8:39 am

Good day

I got a Eclipse double din deck that is in japanese and the FM band only goes up to 89 mhz. Is there anyone that can fix this meaning convert it to english and expand the FM band? Awaiting feedback.

converting japanese to english is kinda hard...

expanding the Fm band however is easier...just buy and plug in and thats it...theres two versions -14 MHZ and 18MHZ...do some research before u buy!

This is the unit.

What are the options that the person has?

Actually if anyone knows the model number I can try to get the manual and use google to translate it to English.

That's an option.

Will have to take a look at it in person and see all what it has to make a decision on if to swap for a new unit or work with this one.

Does the TV even work down here?

I'm seeing what looks like a screen on top there. Will it become redundant if the head unit is changed to a double din DVD unit?

Kurps, car from your side.
