The opti drive is 1 of the best that lanzar has , got a friend with a 500x2 running 2 10" mids an 2 horns . never seem to trip , but check your voltage power and see how stable it is , not enough power will cause overheating,

powerbass xa 3000d used one and have a xa4000d rite now...very tonal amps, not very current hungry and does rated power...had the xa3000d playing 6 10" t3 audio t400 subs.

well of course a dd9515 cud take moar power  but its not really necessary , what sense putting a heap of power to only crank it hard for a short while & risk screwing up ur sub , around 3k is fine

seeing that i did all my spl records with just 2 of these pb 3k on 1 15 & including a time my h\o alt conked out i competed with battery power & stock 80A alt : still managed to do a 152.6dbs so i dont think any more convincing is needed ...
