need to get a new set an i have narrowed it down to the two options so far i mite give the dls a +1 for the t25 and a +1 for the qts of .7(which should give it a better low end response in a basic door install. anyone have any info to share

I would say that based on listening to the HAT and i think the older version of this DLS, the HAT will have the edge as it can get pretty loud and still maintain a decent composure of sound. On the other hand the DLS will come with a gorgeous fancy passive network...but... the HAT's actual speaker and tweeter build looks more robust. The phase plug is a plus on the HAT also. I might go with the HAT if i had to choose.
I would go with the HAT as well, look for the local review thread on them on MK's forum. Lots of local listening impressions from that dealer hosted event.
i've heard the older DLS and the older hybrids.... both are exceptional sets...but in my PERSONAL view....i just love the sound of all the DLS speakers i have heard
