If I want sq bass, what would be the best option for me?
A 2 channel or a monoblock?
Are there any differences in the bass quality? considering dampening factor and such.

If you tune a box to about 30hz regardless of the fs it would still roll off smoothe?
Thanks for the tips guys
The Fs of a driver is simply where the impedance curve of the driver peaks in a free-air environment. As soon as you put the driver in an enclosure its impedance curve changes.

Think the headunit you speak of is the alpine ilx-w650. It has a truncated mounting depth in the dash to fit the alpine power pack.

from the site:
CEA-2006 Power Rating: 45W x 4 @ 4Ω/2Ω
90 Watts x 2 @ 4Ω Bridged
Still deck power levels.
