Advice needed sound men

Good Day soundmen, I am in the process of building a system and so far I have acquired a Clarion eqs746 and a clarion crossover mcd360. Do I need a matrix or any other processing? Thanks for your advice.

vehicle and what do you need to achieve

you should have bought your head unit first as depending on the features you may not require the clarion processors

two 10'' for mids- rcf
two drivers for highs- 405ti or rcf (not sure yet)
two 12'' for bass - dd9512

the matrix adds a gr8 amount of line drive... i would advise it since the output voltage on the mcd is 5v and matrix is 15or 13 nt sure...a matrix makes a huge difference since it boosts ur signal hence u will use lower gains on ur amps which can run ur amps cool rather than stressing the outputs.. in my vehicle where i use to use half gain i am using quarter and it sounds much louder on my mids all my gains on the amps are off jus setting freq. and still using half gain from matrix so u do d maths.

kamraj in your situation i advise getting a matrix as the only processor,
u do not need the clarion cross,

the signal processing on the kickers you have are up to par with the latest audiocontrol digital technology, and the memphis has the subsonic and cross already.

the kickers need to have very strong line drive though, thats what u need

so deck > preamp > matrix > amps and u good
