an is it a good brand

It's not a brand, its a nickname for Digital Design's Z series.

Isn't 'Z Woofer' really the Zebra brand?

The Digital Design Z series is an ok sub.. I'd much prefer Audiopipe subs though..

dd z series iz one of the loudest subs in the world
