First vehicle purchase help

Postby cpo4u » January 29th, 2015, 10:56 am

First off, my budget is only 20 000 to approximately $30 000 which is not much. I was trying to get a vehicle on a work to own basis but I do not think people like that too much and I totally understand.

I like Honda's mainly because of the classy way it looks however my budget is below the range for that. lol. So my next option is Kia. I saw some reasonably priced Kia's for about 25k which isnt bad.

My question is, As a first time vehicle purchase, would you recommend a Kia? How expensive are the parts really for this?

Thanks

a b13 would fit into ur budget and maintenance would be alot easier on the pocket than a kia or honda

For that price range it would be the older model kia's which can be problematic. Also some parts can be difficult to get and costly. For your price range, I'd suggest a Nissan until you can upgrade.

Right now b15 is the best vehicle to maintain, the reason I saying that is because I work in the bamboo so I know what prices are.

Eg
B13 head and block =2500 (bare)
B15 head and block =700
Eg8 head and block =3000
Ck2 head and block =4000

Stay away from honda and lancer.

I can do $2500 monthly. PM me and let me know if that works for you all. Willing to organise everything for this Saturday once you all available.

Suspension. Bushings. Yep. Steering rack. Everything is basically either 100/101/110. Parts from various models can even work as upgrades.

4a /5a fuel injected engines available. Body parts yes. Saw 3 front cuts a month ago. All fully equipped and some scrapping. Rel nice.
