I never understood americans fascination with drawing bricks on wheels in that era, especially when their pre-and early post-war cars were so well designed

That Seville belonged to my good friend who brought it in as a returning resident when he came back to live in Trinidad after spending years in the US . He died and the car just sits there rotting . I had two of them and they worked like a dream . They are front wheel drive and fuel injected .

That’s not Zuly Caddy? It use to be parked by his shop in Aranguez.
My dad had a similar Ford pickup to the white one posted above. Can’t remember the number plate, but I think it’s a TAK.
Sosa did the graphics on it and IIRC it had a Cap/ Brama too over the tray. Anyways after it crash he sold it to the meat man on the side of the highway in Charliville then it got repainted in do-do brown. The meat man always had it parked outside by the highway with his other American trucks.

I sheit you not. Also the fuel injection was an electronic something like a four barrel carb , i use to pull down and repair those like nothing.
They were economical and powerful like you cant imagine. Imagine a 4.1 litre V8 fwd .

would love to see how drive was sent to the wheels, as I would imagine the engine was over the axle centerline

Inside Tarodale (go down the road behind the goat sellers off Sando flyover ) it’s on the second to last north /south road on the western side of the development .

Same place . Tarodale , the middle road . There are also two capris downstairs a house down a hill along the main rd in quarry village Siparia . There are a couple Capris in Guaracara junction where you turn to go to Tabaquite. I’ll see if I get numbers for those interested.
