Nissan Tiida Electrical

Postby Coppershot » October 10th, 2020, 12:09 pm

Recently I have this issue where car is not starting around March/April. Battery was changed in January.
I load tested battery, changed alarm (since alarm was arming itself when car not staring), then changed alternator then serviced starter other the course of 2/3 months.

Recently a new issue have appeared where the car is not turning over until a couple of tries. I changed starter. Everything was good f or a few days, now the issue have returned where it not turning over until a couple of tries.
Today when i check the battery voltage from alternator is 13.8 volts instead of 14 volts. Battery voltage when car is off is 12.8 volts.

BTW: Battery warranty checks where done at least 3 times so far. No issues detected.

Any ideas???

Battery numbers seem fine.
Starting issue maybe related to induction system.

If its MAF or dirty throttle body why is voltage dropping?

Battery voltage when car is off will be low. When started and alternator is charging it would come up.
The constant tumbling will put more strain on the battery.
