I have a Bluebird Sylphy, and when it now start, the speedo gives a reading that's around half what you going, and after a minute or two, it just drops to zero and stays there. I unplugged what I thought was the speed sensor on the gearbox, but it still gives the same issue, initial reading and all. I really confused, does the car get a speed signal from the abs or something? Cause my abs light on and I didn't bother to go through the headache of fixing that. Additional info: car had a qg18 originally, then a qg15, and finally the current qg18. It was rewired each time. I used the self diagnosing thing in the gauge cluster and all the gauges responding, so I know is not the cluster itself.
