Navara oil light

Hey guys my oil light in my navara keeps blinking when I start an saying oil low.i check the level an is reading full I recently did a oil change and use original oil filter, after a few switch on an off it came off. Any idea what could cause the problem. Thanks.

Change the oil pressure switch.

There is an old level sensor on the driver's side just above the oil pan. That sensor causes this problem not the oil pressure switch.

neal and massey has the sensor.. replacing it is should be a simple DIY job.

It's not difficult to replace. The hardest part is moving the transmission cooler lines out of the way. This can be done by removing two 10mm screws that
are holding the clamps.

I would suggest that you do that at your next oil change. Oil will come out if the oil pan is full.

Ok will do it at next oil change
