Go and get the car scanned it will tell you what's wrong ....

Anyone with a diagnostic scanner can reset your idle. I have had that problem with the HR15 engines. It is not a mechanical issue, that's why your mechanic cannot fix it.

As you said that I now remember that happened to me when I cleaned my throttle body ...yeh just get it reset with a scanner.
