2019 Ranger XLT 4x2 vs Hilux 4x4

Hey Guys,
To be striaght to the point
Can you guys, based on your own ownership experiences indicate which you think is the better buy:

2019 Ford Ranger XLT 2.2L 4x2 AT for 275k
5 years warranty and 5 years free service.... But couple of ppl advise they have reliability issues mainly transmission

2019 Toyota Hilux 2.4L 4x4 AT for 295k
3 years warranty and no free service
But ppl keep saying why a ranger... Go hilux better resale no reliability issues.

Any help would be appreciated

Most of the people here would advise Toyota, but then again the featureset and appearance of the ranger might win others.
