I got a pair similar to what you posted there at Bhagwansings. My hands get rly sweaty after a while in them tho.

I bought a lighter more breathable type last week at Bhagwansings again to give a try.

Try CSP, they had a thin nitrile and stretchy cotton glove that fit quite snuggly. No adjustable strap like the mechanix but was more like a disposable - use a few times glove.

I have a pair of the Mechanix. They work pretty good, had them a few years now and they're holding out. I wash them often to get the grease out. Would recommend them.

Get a pair of Maxiflex also from CSP. Much more tactile feel than the Mechanix.

Well right now I'm doing suspension and alignment.
Around some pretty dirty parts and sometimes tires with wires shown.
That's the reason really. Not so much grease but grime

^yup...

ok for what do you the showa gloves can work, the grease monkeys are one brand of it. you can get those at ssl, allied, etc they are very effective for what you want to do and last a long time once taken care of.

my only issue with the mehanix gloves is being able to do precision work. to me they are for more "industrial" type work ie. rigging, mechanical works. you can't really hold a screw driver with the impact series
